The adventure FAR: Lone Sails was released in 2018, since then the creators have been working on the sequel FAR: Changing Tides. This has now received a concrete release date.
Developer Okomotive and publisher Frontier Foundry will release the puzzle-adventure sequel FAR: Changing Tides in the foreseeable future. Today the two companies named the specific release date for PC and consoles.
The sequel to FAR: Lone Sails, which was released in 2018, will therefore be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC from March 1, 2022. Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers can look forward to it, because FAR: Changing Tides will be the next game that will be included in Microsoft’s subscription model right after the release.
You play as Toe, a boy who wakes up alone in a flooded world. You must now explore the ruins of Toe’s former home and set off on a ship made of junk to navigate the enemy waters. The dangers in the environment are to be circumvented, among other things, by various puzzles; you also have to sail and steer your ship yourself. This has to be maintained and improved by finding new parts.
