The unexpected often happens: Ubisoft has given its current shooter Far Cry 6 a brand new cross-over mission for free. The focus here: cult hero Rambo.
With “To the Last Drop” owners of the shooter Far Cry 6 get a new cross-over mission at hand; this is even provided free of charge by Ubisoft.
The new task is inspired by the first three Rambo films and, according to the developers, is intended to pay homage to them. For this purpose, Ubisoft has cooperated with Studiocanal, which owns the rights to the cult films.
What’s the matter? In the mission you meet a Rambo superfan and have to help her in a bloody vendetta against the Yara military. There’s a lot of stealth and action in the 80’s style with plenty of nods to classic Rambo moments. Completing the mission will unlock the Revenge Arc, a deadly explosive weapon effective against helicopters and heavy units. After the revenge arc is unlocked, it will be permanently available in the main game.
Also available to purchase today is the Rambo Bundle, which gives you access to Rambo-themed gear to customize your character with.
Since the worldwide release on October 7th, 2021, Far Cry 6 has already received other new special missions, such as a Danny Trejo mission, as well as two large DLC packs as part of the Season Pass: Vaas: Madness and Pagan: Control. The third and final DLC, Joseph: Collapse, is coming soon.
