Far Cry 6 Lost Between Worlds DLC launches next week, new game + update available today

Ubisoft Announces Paid Expansion for The Lost Between Worlds Far Cry 6 And the latest game updates including New Game+.

In The Lost World, this new chapter in Dani Rojas’ story is set in a broken version of Yara. After they explore a mysterious meteorite impact site, Dany will find herself in a strange space between two worlds, accompanied by an immaterial entity named Fai.

You’ll need to repair Fai’s damaged spacecraft by collecting five missing fragments, each of which increases Dani’s overall survivability.

To retrieve the lost shards, you’ll need to pass 15 trials called Rifts, in which you must defeat humanoid and animal crystal enemies called Shardfaces.

In each unique rift, you’ll encounter different hazards and otherworldly obstacles, and must choose how to approach each one. You’ll also discover powerful weapons and tools, and collect power shards scattered throughout the area. These will allow you to recover and retry the Rift if necessary.

Once the mission is complete, you’ll receive Fai’s gear, which you can take back to Yara for use in the ongoing struggle against the regime.

Lost Between Worlds will be available on 6 December for £17.99, or the equivalent in your region. It’s also available as part of the Upgrade Pass for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, as well as on PC via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. You can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC and Amazon Luna.

Additionally, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 6 will offer a free trial for new players starting today on consoles and PC. You’ll be able to explore the Isla Santuario area at will, and if you want to keep playing, you’ll keep your progress and receive discounts on the game, season pass, and DLC content.

Today, Title Update 6 is out, and it comes with the New Game+ mode. This update also introduces the Completionist Aid feature, providing you with guided assistance as you uncover Yara’s hidden secrets.
