Naughty Dog sends its wishes for 2023 with a video game throwback to the current year. So which hits did the Californian studio choose?
Favorite Naughty Dog games of 2022
Despite being very busy with their games, like all gamers, the various members of Naughty Dog are relaxing by trying out the titles that are coming out. But what were your favourites? Unsurprisingly, Elden Ring is quoted first. By Arne Meyer (Vice President) and Jeremy Yates (Director of Animation).
I know Elden Ring will be a popular choice this year, but if you’ve heard me talk about the games I’ve played this year or read my PlayStation 2022 review, it won’t surprise anyone. I’m totally into this hype train. What appeals to me so much about Elden Ring is the layers of storytelling and world-building that grow as you unpack the visual references, listen to the dialogues, and listen to the “we’re linking the texts of the objects.”

J Dietrich, who works in quality assurance for accessibility options, can’t get rid of his head signaled. An independent survival horror that’s currently a hit.
I can’t get Signalis out of my head. Everything about this game felt fresh and new, with a healthy dose of survival horror nostalgia. The story is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and I will remember it for the rest of my life. 10/10 Beautiful, fun and delightfully challenging.
Theo Tanaka, Senior Quality Assurance at Naughty Dog, is obsessed with God of War Ragnarok:
Few games captivate me, let me play against every player and convince me like God of War Ragnarok did.
The dogs wish you a happy new year
These are just three examples, but of course there are more. The developers call OlliOlli World, Marvel Snap, Stray, Rollerdrome, Horizon Forbbiden West, Valorant, Gran Turismo 7, Bloom or Sifu. To consult their opinions, in English, it is on the side of the dog
One of the best games of 2022 for Naughty Dog, ending with a message to the developers of these games and to the fan base.
Before we close the year, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the developers who have created these extraordinary games. Thank you to our fans for your continued support and for playing all of our adventures, new and old, over the past year. We can’t wait to share with you all the exciting things to come in 2023.
2023 for Naughty Dog should be livened up with the release of The Last of Us Factions and perhaps the announcement of an unreleased franchise. Unless The Last of Us 3 is trying to steal the show!
