It’s a fact, Battlefield 2042 will also appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Therefore, and we suspected it a little (actually a lot), technically these two versions will not be on the level of the new next-gen versions. Developers have inevitably made concessions in many areas. The evidence the game can only take 64 players on PS4 and Xbox One and the size of the cards is reduced when we compare with the gigantic levels on the next generation, which is planned for 128 players.
With regard to these two versions, that will of course not surprise anyone, from now on, that means “old generation”. But at least that lets you know what to expect.
