It is more than a month before the highly anticipated remake of Final Fantasy 7 is released, and it seems that speed runners have begun using the FF7 remake demo to test their luck.
Various Speedrunners have posted on YouTube their attempts to clear the FF7 remake demo as soon as possible. The most recent attempt was from a small YouTuber called YouTube, which you can watch below.
Naturally, some speeding veterans have come up with a way to clear the demo in a very short time. Current world record holder inugakushin recently posted a score of 15:19 on Twitch, which you can check here. This is an Any% run, which means you can ignore certain parts of the presentation that don't have to be done-the only requirement here is that as long as you do it quickly, you can complete the presentation in one way or another.

A remake of Final Fantasy 7 will be released on April 10, 2020. If you don't have a PS4 yet, the timing exclusivity of Final Fantasy 7 will expire on April 10, 2021.
