Anyone who continues to play FIFA 22 and is one of the collectors in FIFA Ultimate Team will now be offered a new item series for a limited period of time by EA: the FUT Captains.
Publisher Electronic Arts has announced a set of limited-time special items for FIFA Ultimate Team players in FIFA 22. The so-called FUT Captains are his homage to the greatest captains in world football, focusing on both the past and the present.
For the first time there will be game versions of historical content. The first team of FUT Captains is available now, and a second team will follow on April 15, 2022. EA has planned an additional release for April 17, 2022 before the campaign ends on April 22nd.
There will also be ten FUT Hero Captains. Such heroes will receive their own unique item. Nine will be available in packs and one will be released as Squad Building Challenges (SBC). Some FUT Hero Captains will have a different league and position compared to their original FUT Hero version depending on where they were captained at the time.
For Germany, the first release includes the captains Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund, Christian Günter from SC Freiburg and Jonas Hector from 1. FC Köln. The Hero Captains are Antonio Di Natale, Freddie Ljungberg, Clint Dempsey and Diego Milito. The additional release will appear this Sunday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m.
