Football fans have been waiting for this all September, but FIFA 23 is finally here. FIFA 23, a frantic first half!
That’s it, the latest version of the famous Electronic Arts football game by that name is available! A few days before release we took the time to deliver a full exam
Electronic Arts can give them gifts at the beginning of the game, but that won’t change much.. Among the players, the part most dissatisfied with this new iteration continues to be heard and has attacked one of the most popular game modes of the title, namely FIFA Ultimate Team, despite suffering some expected improvements. Since its release late last week, players have been raining down pack openings, except one detail that quickly caught their eye really annoyed them!
FUT is at the center of a new controversy
FIFA loot boxes have drawn a lot of ink since their inception, and those of FIFA 23 seem to reproduce the same fate. Admittedly, we’re at the very beginning of the FUT cycle with this new version, but players have already noticed an issue they didn’t have with previous editions, which is duplicate players. Since Friday, players have been surprised by a bizarre accumulation of the same players, a phenomenon that usually occurs with a slightly longer delay.
This is notably the opinion of Reddit user ScoobySkreep, who remarked during a pack opening session that ” each pack contains half duplicates and that the number of duplicates of “Gold” players ” way to high ». He’s not the only one who shares his displeasure this thread ! To bolster the testimony, others like Siggy778 underscored an unusually high presence of duplicates, if some count them by ten. It wasn’t long before the dissatisfaction went up a notch and Electronic Arts was singled out: As the players’ story progressed, one of them thought that this could be a strategy by EA to steer them towards more and more microtransactions. Once again, FUT mode never stops fueling the liveliest discussions and getting into trouble.
