final fantasy 14 A bunch of new details have just been released for the upcoming Dawntrail expansion, including the latest class, the Pictomancer.
Fancy yourself an artist? As revealed at last night’s Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Tokyo, the new ranged magic DPS Pictomancer will be one of the Dawntrail classes launching later this year, helping you express yourself when it arrives. The trailer for the new class shows off some of the spells you can use with the new brush weapon in action, which looks pretty slimy as the player character swings around blobs of paint before shooting them at targets. an enemy.
There were a lot of other announcements made at Fan Fest. Those eager to play as a big cat female should be happy to hear that a female Hrothgar will also be joining Dawntrail. Like the main Viera, for most of Final Fantasy 14 they only had one gender option, allowing only male Hrothgar. Endwalker introduced the ability to play as the male Viera, and the female Hrothgar now follows in the Bunnyman’s footsteps.
On top of that, more lifestyle content is being added in the form of: space exploration, a new mode that lets you explore different planets, although details on what you’ll actually get to do are currently limited. There will also be new limited jobs added at some point in the 7.0 expansion pack, Beast King, will presumably do what it says on the tin. Final Fantasy XVI fans can also look forward to an apparently planned collaboration event early April.
You’ll soon have an excuse to jump back into the MMO, as patch 6.55 shows, Grow Lights Part 2will be released on January 16th, just over a week away.
Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but it’s expected to be released this summer, so you can look forward to it.
