According to a press release from Square Enix, while the remake of Final Fantasy 7 will be complete, the remake may involve multiple parts. This hints at the publisher's statement: "The project's first full game is in Megalopolis Midgar." At netzwelt's request, Square Enix avoided explaining it, referring only to that part of the press release.
Remake demo version released
In early March, Square Enix suddenly released a demo of the Final Fantasy 7 remake. It is now available in the PS Store, but you need a valid subscription for PS Plus to play.
This story is about the clash between the dark group Shinra and the resistance avalanche. The latter was helped by mercenaries and protagonist Cloud Strife.
