Perhaps the most anticipated Pixel Remaster of the Final Fantasy series had to be postponed first, but has now a new release period.
Square Enix hat via Twitter announced a new release period for the Pixel Remaster of Final Fantasy VI. The title should actually be available for PC, iOS and Android on November 10th of this year, but the developers had postponed the publication for additional fine-tuning on the pixelated new edition.
So far we had to wait for a new information on the publication period, but now there is much more clarity in this regard. The Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster should be available in February 2022, but the exact date is still pending. After all, the waiting time is no longer too long.
While the disappointment about the postponement was great at first, it may also have its good points in the end: The first five remasters were by no means free of errors and definitely needed a few updates to fix bugs. Perhaps the players of the Pixel Remaster of Final Fantasy VI will be more or less spared that in return.
By the way, those who pre-order will receive the following music tracks and various wallpapers as a bonus:
- Locke’s Theme (Timelapse Remix)
- The Decisive Battle (Timelapse Remix)
- Terra’s Theme (Timelapse Remix)
- Searching for Friends (Timelapse Remix)
- Middle Character Aria (Instrumental)
