With the confirmation of the release date, the pre-orders of Final Fantasy XVI have also started. Fans of the franchise are spoiled for choice, because there are four different editions to choose from.
Anyone who wants to secure Final Fantasy XVI for release on June 22, 2023 on the PlayStation 5 must first decide which edition it should be. Because Square Enix has put together several packages, including a limited edition Collector’s Edition, which can be pre-ordered from next Monday, December 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Square Enix Store.
The following applies to all those who decide early: If you pre-order, you will receive the DLC “Fighter’s Heart (Weapon)” and the “Caith Sith Talisman (Gil Boost Accessory)” for free as a bonus.
Other retailer-specific features: Anyone purchasing the physical Standard Edition at Amazon.de also gets an exclusive Steelbook. Those who pre-order the Standard or Deluxe Edition at GameStop will receive exclusive patches based on the crests of each realm in Valisthea.
