After many years, Square Enix finally revives the legendary Mana license with Visions of Mana, a brand new work whose release date we now know.

Finally a release date for Visions of Mana
After many remasters and remakes, Visions of Mana finally marks the return of the license with a brand new adventure, especially in the company of Val, the character we will play there, and Hinna. She will receive the blessing of the fairies and our two friends will then begin an epic journey to the Tree of Mana. Along the way they will meet other endearing companions such as Careena and Morley. This is the synopsis that awaits fans on August 29 on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series.
This adventure will take the form of an action RPG with quite nervous gameplay, in which large areas can be explored on the backs of Pikuls, the mascots of Visions of Mana, imagined especially for the game by the legendary Nao Ikeda, official character designer of the franchise. With its “small open world” we can’t help but draw a parallel with the direction of FF7 Rebirth, and that obviously isn’t meant to displease us. In addition to fans, this new work is definitely intended to appeal to a whole new audience.
Square Enix therefore tried to please both audiences by, as they say, making something new with something old. Our preview of the game left us with quite good preliminary impressions.
