Fire Emblem Engage is getting an Expansion Pass soon, and good news for Three Houses fans: three of your favorite Academy leaders are back.
Nintendo announced tonight at The Game Awards that Fire Emblem Engage will receive an expansino pass, the first of four waves to coincide with the game’s release date, January 1st. The first wave included the Emblem characters Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude, as well as one of the more classic characters, Tiki. There will also be new support items, as well as accessories and a silver card, which nets you nice discounts in the store for older games.
There’s no word on when the other three waves of DLC will be available, other than they’re all apparently slated for 2023, but you can at least expect a total of four.
First announced in September, Fire Emblem Engage looks to be a game that celebrates its history, with iconic characters like Marth serving as some kind of summons that you can take into battle with you and seem to learn about. You can probably expect more of the usual anime chess-style gameplay, and if it bears any resemblance to recent entries, some romance options wouldn’t be too surprising.
