The first trailer for Seth Rogen’s Apple TV+ series The Studio has been released, and it features a bunch of big-name stars telling him how bad he is.
Well, they didn’t specifically tell Rogen that he was bad, but there were definitely some big shots on the matter. “The Studio” is an upcoming 10-episode drama created by Rogen and his frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg, in which the actor plays the fictional Matt Remick, a mainland working The new head of Continental Studios, which is not an actual production company. “As the film struggles to stay viable and relevant, Matt and his core management team internally battle their own insecurities, quarrel with narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in their pursuit of making great films, ” explains the official synopsis.
“Their power suits mask their never-ending sense of panic, and every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and awards ceremony presents an opportunity for either brilliant success or career-ending disaster. As a meal ”

The film has a strong cast, with actors including Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice), Kathryn Hahn (Agatha Always) joining the main cast, and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad division) as a guest star, and Hollywood icons such as Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese and Charlize Theron all play themselves – all of whom seemed less than enthusiastic about Rogen’s character (“You have no talent. Spineless,” Scorsese says at one point, showing that the aging director still has some acting chops).
It all looks interesting in the first trailer, and you won’t have to wait too long as it’s currently set to release on Apple TV+ on March 26 next year.
