In the fourth season of “For All Mankind”, the crew members have to deal with delicate missions on Mars. After another jump in time, the popular Apple TV+ continues in 2003, where the political situation on Earth and on Mars is deeply tense.
After an asteroid heads for Mars and is secured, the USA and the Soviet Union argue over its earnings and resources. In addition, a strike and many intrigues on Mars cause further chaos among the employees. A fifth season of the drama series has not yet been announced, but cannot be completely ruled out at the moment.

In conversation with the US website Den of Geek The three series creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi commented on new episodes of “For All Mankind” and announced their future plans. Wolpert said the following:
“When we first launched the show, before the first season, we talked about this overarching story that would span about seven seasons. That’s our goal.”

Seven seasons were even planned, but there are no exact plans yet. If a fifth season is actually commissioned and production begins soon, there could be new episodes on Apple TV+ Late 2025 or early 2026 give.

For All Mankind Season 5: Plot
According to series creators Moore, Wolpert and Nedivi, there are already plenty of ideas for the possible plot in season 5. Among other things, it will be about how fast humanity can move in space, since the travel time was shortened in the 4th season. Nevertheless, the aim is to ensure that the drama series remains realistic for the audience and that scientific progress appears comprehensible. Co-creator Moore says:
“Everything in the show [sollte] be plausible. And be a path that humanity could still take.”
