Lidl currently offers two inexpensive trekking e-bikes from Fischer. With them you can travel safely even off paved roads.

Now in March the cycling season starts again for many people, because the temperatures are finally reaching double digits and the sun can also be seen every now and then. If you are looking for a new e-bike this year, then it is worth taking a look at the online shops of the discounters. Among other things, Lidl has an offer for a trekking e-bike from Fischer.
The Fischer e-bike is available with a lower entry as well as a regular men’s version with a bar. The tires are 28 inches, the light system, stand and luggage rack make the bike suitable for everyday use and touring. The saddle suspension ensures more comfort when driving.
The motor is located in the rear wheel; the discounter does not provide any information about performance or manufacturer. The battery is located on the down tube and has a capacity of 422.4 watt hours. That’s enough for village, city or short tours.
The hydraulic disc brakes come from Shimano, the suspension fork is a simple model from SR Suntour. Lidl also doesn’t provide any information about the gears; Shimano is probably used here too.
The price-performance ratio of the discount e-bike is decent because at least some of it uses branded components. At 26 kilograms, the weight is in the normal range for e-bikes. If you’re looking for a chic alternative for the city: Lidl offers its own stylish e-bike with a belt drive for 1,299 dollars.
