After a long development period Age of Empires 4 finally here – and with it all eight playable races. We asked you a few weeks ago which of the factions you like the most.
A very clear picture emerged, because one people outstripped all the others in the almost 3,000 votes cast. In view of our previous survey about the desired groups, the winner is not surprising, but in terms of clarity, this is still worth an exclamation point.

A favorite and a distant pursuer
In your opinion, the Holy Roman Empire is clearly the favorite of the eight playable races in Age of Empires 4. With a good half of all votes, the people are well ahead of everyone else. To put it more precisely in the voting figures: 1,436 of 2,952 votes voted for the Holy Roman Empire. User Corvinus explains the choice as follows:

None of the other races can even begin to compete. Only the English, with 479 votes, and thus 16 percent of all votes, can still describe themselves as pursuers – even if the gap is huge.
The remaining six peoples together come to just 34 percent. The Delhi Sultanate brings up the rear with just 3 percent or 84 votes. For Sok4R the reason for this is obvious:
I had imagined the Dheli Sultanate to be completely different from how they ultimately played.
