October is known to be the time of spooky and Halloween. Numerous video games hold corresponding events and Ubisoft also wants a piece of the horror cake. An interesting partner has now been found in Bungie.
From today until November 14, 2024, a crossover event with Destiny 2 is running in the heavy-hitting game For Honor. This is called “Light of the Guardians” and brings the usual stuff: a special game mode, skins inspired by Destiny, one new event pass and much more.

The new game mode is a modified version of Domination. As usual, you secure points and move around the cathedral area. The fearsome Scorn Baron lurks within the walls and is said to provide a good dose of horror.
The “Light of the Guardians” event also brings two new skins for the Lawbringer and Centurion, which were of course inspired by Destiny 2: “The Violet King” (Saint-14) and “The Crucibel Lord” (Lord Shaxx).
There is also a special event pass that gives you exclusive rewards. For example, there is a mood effect, there is an ornament and also a combat outfit. During the event you will also receive Destiny-style weapons at the end of the matches and the in-game shop has been stocked with some items. Among other things, Destiny-style emotes, a podium, an Illustrious outfit and more can be found there. You can still buy the skins after the event ends.
The Destiny x For Honor event is rounded off by a community order with three milestones. Completing the first gives you 2,000 Steel, the second gives you 2,000 Steel and 4XP boosts, and the final milestone gives you the Spirit Trophy Ornament for all heroes and heroines, 1,000 Steel and an XP boost.
