Nvidia’s latest Game Ready driver 522.25 not only includes new game support and DLSS 3 features, but also support for three new graphics cards that are not yet available.
Anyone hoping for an early release of the RTX 4070 or 4060 will be disappointed, because these are three more graphics chips from the RTX 3000 series. Strictly speaking, they are:
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 Ti mit GA102-Chip
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti mit GDDR6X
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 with 8.0 GB
Are these new graphics cards a dampener for anyone looking forward to cheaper RTX 4000 cards? Our test of the RTX 3060 reveals how much performance you can expect from these models:
RTX 3060 with 12 GB in the test
Gaming benchmarks against RTX 3060 Ti and AMD
The old RTX 3060 Ti may be completely replaced
The new cards will appear on the global market instead of only in certain regions, as has sometimes happened with reboots with only small changes.
A special feature here is the new RTX 3060 Ti. With the faster GDDR6X memory, it could be around seven to ten percent more powerful than the currently available 3060 Ti, which still uses GDDR6 memory.
At the same time, the list price is to be increased by around 14 dollars. According to reports from the Chinese website Mydrivers.com
If you are interested in getting a 12.0 GB RTX 3060 soon, don’t worry that it will be replaced by the planned 8.0 GB model. At least Nvidia has no plans for this at the moment. The new RTX 3070 Ti with the larger GA102 chip should also be available in addition to the current model.
Is it after Videocardz.com, the RTX 3060 (Ti) overhaul does not bode well for anyone waiting for an RTX 4060. Instead, it is seen as a sign that mid-range fans will have to be patient when it comes to new models of the RTX 4000 generation with DLSS 3.
What AMD is doing with the new RX 7000 generation remains exciting, even if it will only appear in the high-end range for the time being when it is released in December. You can find out more about this in the following article:
