This time, Epic is hitting you with two free games again and rarely have they been such absurd titles. Here are the two games and the download link at a glance:
- Paradigm is an extremely funny written adventure that comes up with grotesque pictures and no less than five alternative endings. The download is available here.
- It gets even more whimsical in the multiplayer sandbox Just Die Already, which sees you as a daredevil retiree stumbling through a not-so-serious dystopian future where no more children are born. You earn the money for the care with wild stunts and bloody slapstick battles against other old wimps. It can be dusted off for free here.
If the rollator action doesn’t appeal to you, but you think sandboxes are great, these eight recommendations might be someth ing for you:

The most important information about the free games
- Until when are the games free? From April 28 to May 5 at 5 p.m. you can both snag gifts. They will then remain with you permanently.
- What’s in it? There are no content DLCs for either game, so you get everything you can own for the two titles.
- Is that something for you? In the rest of the article, we classify, as usual, for whom this week’s free game is suitable and show you gameplay from both titles.
This is what awaits you in Paradigm
In this truly unique adventure you embody the eponymous mutant Paradigm. A scrap from a designer baby genetics lab, he was abandoned in a seedy Eastern European town and hardened by its rough streets.
Instead of pursuing his dream of becoming the best electronic musician of all time, he must become the unwilling world savior and thwart the plans of the equally genetically modified candy-puking sloth.
In the release trailer from back then, the sympathetic antihero introduces himself:

Narratively that sucks Point&Click adventure full of 80s charm not with adult themes and black humor. The dialogues are so crazy and fresh that no mutated eye stays dry.
Developer Jacob Janerka sends you in his adventure, which he has passionately developed himself over many years, from one location to the next, which is as lovingly as it is grotesquely designed, in order to get to know one weird character after the other.
From the sex-addicted chat robot to the suicidal water dispenser really everything is represented that you have never met in an adventure game. If you want to know more about it before playing it in, read our detailed review of the game:

And if grotesque beings and puking enemies get your heart pumping, but you prefer role-playing games to adventures, Death Trash might also be worth a look. The Europe junior fallout already cut a good figure in the early access test.
This is how Just Die Already plays
The completely absurd pensioner hate Just Die Already, which is never meant to be taken seriously, puts you alone or in co-op in the role of up to four seniors who are supposed to create as much chaos as possible in the urban environment without losing your head and collar.
Your rickety bodies are extremely fragile, and one wrong step or careless swipe by a teammate can cost you an arm and a leg. But that can’t stop you, instead it gives your movements an exaggerated red fountain of blood – uh… emphasis.

Just Die Already in the preview video: An old man and the bloody fight for survival
The “you can do everything, but everything can also break you” mechanics paired with the stupid weapons like a banana shotgun or your own limbs ensures regular laughs through its unpredictably funny consequences alone.
The whole thing was developed by the designers who already have the wacky ones Goat Simulator devised and the relationship can hardly be denied on closer inspection. Since the release a year ago, the game has also been expanded to include a free PvP mode.
But regardless of whether you’re already semi-retired or still feel like a young hop, you’re guaranteed to have a great time in our debate between the different generations of gamers in the editorial office:

Who are the free games suitable for?
Paradigm may be a rather unknown adventure, thanks to its sparkling wit, the unusually ugly (and at the same time likeable!) hero and the fresh setting, it’s worth it for everyone who doesn’t run away screaming at the word Point&Click.
Just Die Already In addition to all the slapstick, it also offers a few really tricky challenges that can give you some entertaining hours. But it only develops real laugh potential with friends, which you should definitely bring with you, since the regular number of players has been in the basement for some time.
But there could hardly be a better opportunity than a giveaway to motivate a few players to take a look. Here you have the link to the overview of all free games at Epic:
