You’ve seen how big most of Armored Core 6’s mechanical monsters are compared to Diablo, but now a video from modder Dropoff shows us just how much fun it would be if AC replaced Elden Ring’s protagonist .
It seems like we’re all on high alert for any information about Shadow of the Erdtree expansion packs, no matter how obscure they may be, but it’s nice to see people still managing to find new ways to incorporate what FromSoft has already given us thing. Even if it looks like this particular combination might undermine the challenge posed by the big bad in The Lands Between .

Taking advantage of the well-publicized fact that the two games share the same engine, Dropoff recently ported parts of the Elden Ring map to AC 6 (thanks to PC Gamer ), seemingly to re-emphasize just how big the player’s mechs are. compared to them. What they really do do, though, is show how hilarious it can be to fly around “The Lands Between” and blast the boss nonsense.
Of course, having a Zimmeman or two with the ability to rain down firepower from afar would almost certainly smooth out the difficulty curve for everyone from Mogh to Malenia – and the sight of a mech shaped like CJ from GTA: San Andreas would almost certainly smooth out the difficulty curve for everyone from Mogh to Malenia. (Yes, Dropoff made that mod) It doesn’t make them die of shock on the spot, but it does look fun. Many parts of the video have a distinct “cat walking on a model train” vibe, and I can’t quite explain why it appealed to me so much.
Maybe it’s just seeing the structures you’d normally see from a little mite’s perspective, reduced to something the mechs can spray onto at will, as if they were low-lying garden walls. Or maybe I’ve always wanted to treat the Gothic Amphitheater like a bowl from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, no matter how poorly AC’s kick-flip gear is.
Hey, finding a way to squeeze a massive tank track into a cave or two would be a huge challenge to say the least. Maybe this is the future – the cockpit of an air conditioner is slapped by Malenia, while its little legs stick out from her hiding place, as if it got stuck while trying to insert something under the table.
