The Formula 1 race for the Australian Grand Prix begins on April 2nd. At 07:00 CET the flag will be waved in Melbourne. This year you can watch the race on TV on Sky Sport F1 and Servus TV Austria and as a live stream on Wow (formerly Sky Ticket) and the Servus TV Austria website.
Follow the race on Sky
- The preliminary report: Sunday, April 2nd at 6:00 a.m. on Sky

Sky is broadcasting the race on Sky Sport F1 on pay TV – a Sky Q subscription is required for this. Alternatively, you can stream the whole thing via the streaming service Wow (formerly Sky Ticket).

Here you have to book the live sports subscription. Wow Live Sport normally costs EUR 29.99 per month. If you book the annual subscription, the price drops to 24.99 dollars per month.
From 6:00 a.m. Sky viewers can watch a preview of the race. The race then runs straight away. After the race, Sky also shows an analysis including interviews from around 8:45 a.m. The press conference for the race will start at around 09:30.
The race on Servus TV
Sky holds the broadcasting rights to Formula 1 in Germany. In Austria, on the other hand, these are broadcast by Servus TV and ORF, which show the races alternately. Both broadcasters broadcast the races there on free TV and also free of charge on the internet. However, the live stream is protected against access from abroad by a country block.

Watch the replay on Sky
Any Sky customer who misses the race can watch the race replay afterwards. Sky is showing these on Sky Sport F1 HD at 10:30am, 2:55pm and 8:30pm. If you want to see the whole package from the preliminary report to the press conference, Sky will show you everything you missed from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
If you want to see a short rerun, you’ll be happy with the program “Race Compact”. You can watch Race Compact on Sky Sport F1 HD at 1 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The highlights from 8 p.m. at Sport 1
Through a cooperation, Sport1 is now also showing the highlights of Formula 1 races on free TV. These will be broadcast on TV, in the live stream and in the app on Sunday evening at 8 p.m.
