What was already speculated at the end of the year has now become reality: The new channel DF1 will bring Formula E to free TV in 2024. According to media reports, an agreement was reached on a collaboration lasting several years. In the future, all races and qualifying sessions will be completely free to watch. Unlike the last three years, there will no longer be any broadcasts on Sat.1 and ProSieben.

Andreas Gröbl and Daniel Goggi will act as commentators on DF1. Former Formula E driver and influencer Daniel Abt could also appear as an expert. DF1 only went on air on January 1st and inherited ServusTV in Germany. In addition to the German Ice Hockey League, the successor has now secured the next major competition.
