Forspoken’s budget could exceed $100 million

According to the LinkedIn pages of former members of the Luminous Productions team, Forspoken’s budget may exceed $100 million.

Voted one of the most notable Sony AAA titles of the year, the game was released to mixed reviews and numerous online criticisms. After the game’s release, Luminous Productions was later absorbed by Square Enix as a whole.

) is certainly a lofty number to keep an eye on, especially against the backdrop of Square Enix calling Forspoken sales “lack-like.”

At the time of the game’s marketing trailer release, and the speed at which the game was selling at some retailers, it was very clear that there was a lack of desire for what Forspoken was cooking up.

Obviously, this is sad news. Extremely high expectations f or the game, and the fallout from poor sales, led to this rough patch in Square Enix’s library recently. Games right now, if you can handle dialogue with a similar in-between set as you do with a game like Borderlands 3 that has a unique brand of humor, a series of technical fixes can make the game really fun.
