A sci-fi psychological thriller, Fort Solis, was announced for PC some time ago. Now it’s clear: The title also makes the leap to Sony’s PlayStation 5.
Developer Fallen Leaf, together with Dear Villagers, has confirmed that the cinematically staged sci-fi adventure Fort Solis will no longer only be reserved for the PC, but will also find its way to Sony’s current PlayStation 5 console. At the same time, the release period was also specified in this context: In the summer of 2023 it should be ready in both cases.
In Fort Solis you must explore an abandoned mining facility on Mars and solve the mystery surrounding the missing crew. There are also some difficult decisions to be made. The creators drew inspiration for the setting and gameplay from psycho-sci-fi films such as “Moon”, “Sunshine” and “Solaris”, as game director James Tinsdale admits. You want to convey the feeling of loneliness and insecurity in the title.
You should be able to playfully explore the facility at your own pace, down to the smallest details – from bunkers and laboratories to the crew quarters. Technically, the Unreal Engine 5 is used, which should ensure an opulent adventure. The cast and voice actors signed for the game include Roger Clark (Red Dead Redemption 2), Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Death Stranding) and Julia Baker (The Last Kingdom).
You can see how the title should actually be played in the gameplay trailer that was also published on the occasion of the Future Games Show.
