People spend more money on Fortnite and FIFA 19 than any other game in 2019.

Market analyst Superdata has released its year-end report, focusing on the highest-income segments and the most profitable games in 2019. Free games dominate spending, accounting for 80% of all digital revenue in 2019.

Fortnite was the highest paid free game last year (and the previous year), with $ 1.8 billion in revenue on all platforms. In terms of paid / advanced gaming, FIFA 19 topped the list with $ 786 million. Call of Duty: Modern War followed closely behind, ranking second with $ 645 million.

As compared to 2019, the large circulation in 2019 has declined, so the high-end segment has fallen by 5%.

Overall, industry spending increased by 4%, of which the mobile business continued to generate the largest revenues, reaching $ 64.4 billion, followed by PCs at $ 29.6 billion and game consoles at $ 15.4 billion.
