The long-running battle royale Fortnite has been in its second chapter for some time – but that is now officially coming to an end.
Epic Games has now announced the date for the final event of Fortnite: Chapter 2. This is called “The End” and is supposed to start on December 4th, 2021 from 10:00 p.m. and then lead to the next big redesign of the action title.
“The end” awaits you with a, according to official information, spectacular final battle between with the dice queen, which will decide the fate of the island. Since the actual season in the Battle Royale title ends one day earlier, all players who log in before the end of the season will also receive 225,000 XP as a reward.
In the final event, groups of up to 16 players can line up in the matchmaking at the same time to fight the corruption of the tipping world together. The one-time game mode will be made available in Fortnite 30 minutes before it launches. Due to the unique character, content creators and everyone else can record and archive the game experience; a repetition will definitely not be available. Therefore, the personal game settings can no longer be changed once “The End” has begun. As a souvenir of the finale, everyone who fights the dice queen in the event will receive a special loading screen and a paint job.
As always, the remaining current orders are only available until the end of the season. If you still want to unlock corresponding rewards, you can do so until the finale. Unfinished business should therefore be tackled by you by 10 p.m. on December 4th. These include, for example:
- Complete pages 1 and 2 of the Dice Queen missions
- Find paint bottles and rainbow ink to unlock more cartoon fish styles
- Exchange remaining Battle Stars for rewards
Since bars cannot be taken into the next season, the “Wild Week: Bargain Hunt” will take place from November 30, 2021, 3 p.m. Select items and some character services are half the price at the time. In addition, in preparation for the final event from November 27, 2021 from 1:00 a.m. to November 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., a “Turbo Leveling Up” weekend will take place.
With “The End” the final event of Fortnite: Chapter 2 is now imminent.
