Fans of the long-running hit Fortnite can soon look forward to a new cross-over with Fallout. The collaboration with the post-apocalyptic franchise, which is currently so popular thanks to the TV series, has now been confirmed.
Fortnite has already had a number of collaborations with well-known entertainment brands, including Star Wars. The next such cross-over campaign has now been confirmed and is quite something: the post-apocalyptic wasteland from the currently popular Fallout series is also finding its way to the island in Fortnite.
There have already been rumors and leaks in recent weeks that suggested a cooperation between Epic Games and Bethesda around the iconic role-playing game franchise, but certainty is only now becoming clear. A first image was published via social media that underlines the arrival of Fallout in Fortnite.
However, it is currently unclear what form this new collaboration will actually take, as the developers have not yet announced any specific details regarding cosmetic items and other offers from the Fallout world. In this regard, the coming days and weeks still remain to be seen. Based on previous promotions in Fortnite, there should also be various player skins, emotes and other items, including in the in-game item shop.
The cross-over does not yet have a start date. Will it possibly happen next week? As is well known, the new Season 3 in Chapter 5 of Fortnite, which is called “Wrecked”, starts on May 24th. Does this then directly bring the Fallout content with it?
Fallout has rarely been as popular as it is currently, which is due to the extremely successful TV series on Amazon Prime Video. This convinced critics and the community alike and attracted new viewers in droves, who are now diving into the Fallout video game series for the first time.
