While in classic Fortnite all gamers are waiting for the impending end of Season 3 and the start of Season 4 in Chapter 5, something is also happening in Fortnite Festival this week. There are new jam tracks again – and in this case that means: There is more from Metallica!
Three new songs from the iconic heavy metal band find their way into the musical part of Harmonix’s long-running hit. Metallica was already in the spotlight in Season 4 of Fortnite Festival, when legendary tracks such as “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman” became playable.
The three new songs available via the item shop are also well-known Metallica hits from earlier days. Specifically, you’ll get “Sad But True,” “Fade to Black,” and “Battery” for the first time. As usual, these will be added to the game as part of the item shop rotation on Thursday night. On the first day, all songs can be played for free, and during the first week, individual tracks can be played for free as part of the rotation. If you want permanent access on demand, you can buy songs for 500 V-Bucks in the item shop.
The metal legends of Metallica are indeed coming to Fortnite.
