We recently reported that the Fortnite Festival, which was introduced in December, will be expanded on February 22nd and will then also receive new stars. Many music fans in the community speculated and hoped that Taylor Swift might do the honors, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The now confirmed name for Fortnite Festival is also a very big one.
Musician, actress and fashion icon Lady Gaga is coming to the island and the Fortnite Festival this week. The musician has now officially confirmed this herself via X (formerly Twitter) in a social media post. Lady Gaga also demonstrated a sense of humor as she took up her viral tweet from 2019 in which she asked “What’s next?”

In her current announcement and teaser image for Fortnite Festival, she amusingly corrects herself and only garnishes it with the phrase “*fortnite”. The image already looks like an in-game shot of Lady Gaga in the game.
In the past, Fortnite fans had done a lot of lobbying to ensure that Lady Gaga would one day find her way into Epic Games’ long-running hit. Now the time has finally come, albeit in the musical spin-off Fortnite Festival. In Fortnite she now joins an already opulent roster of music artists that already includes Marshmello, Bruno Mars, Eminem, Ariana Grande and others.
The new Season 2 starts in Fortnite Festival on February 22nd. The image implies that you will then receive Lady Gaga in her outfit from the Chromatica album and the corresponding tour in the game.
