Fortnite has attracted attention in the recent past with various cross-over promotions and skins. Now the successful battle royale title has been given the world’s most popular sport: football!
Epic Games has come up with the next action in the battle royale hit Fortnite and will soon be giving gamers the most popular sport in the world. From January 23, 2021, the new kick-off set should bring football into the title!
In addition to the kick-off set, there is also an exclusive new emote with “Pelé’s air jump”. Those who take part in the Pelé Cup can even secure it a few days earlier on January 20, 2021.
And what exactly does the kick-off side offer? You can choose from ten different male and female outfit variants with a football background. As you are used to from the previous NFL campaign, you can support one of your participating favorite clubs. Each outfit can be adapted to one of a total of 23 clubs from around the world.

Those who take part in the above-mentioned Pelé Cup on January 20th will have the chance to win the aerial jump emote and the kick-off set in advance. The participants with the most points can win a special, signed t-shirt.
In the creative mode you can generally expect football tournaments in the future. There is a 4-on-4 game mode including a tournament tree to compete against each other. The game is played with the body, pickaxes, power-ups, speed increases and many other methods to get the upper hand over the opponents and achieve victory. Each match consists of two rounds. In the second round, the winners of the first round play for victory and the losers for third place.
The superhero and archer Green Arrow will enrich the Fortnite crew from January 2021.
