With the kicks aka shoes, a big new cosmetic feature is coming to the long-running Fortnite tomorrow. Epic Games has now confirmed and presented the first available shoe models.
Tomorrow, November 21st, the time has come and the kicks are coming from the battle royale hit Fortnite. Kicks? Behind this are shoes as new cosmetic items for the title, which you can use to further customize your look in the future.
At the start you will get an iconic first shoe model with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” via Remix Pass. On tomorrow’s release day, more new kicks will be presented in a specially set up shop area; You will also find all other models there in the future.
The first four drops will include other Nike shoes, including the Nike Shox R4 “Comet Red” or the Nike Cortez Leather OG. Other Jordan shoes include the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement-Gray” and the Air Jordan 11 “Black/Gym Red”. But there are also new Fortnite originals like the Chomp Stompers up for grabs.
The kicks can initially be combined with over 500 existing outfits, but by spring 2025 more than 95 percent of the available outfits are expected to be compatible.
When purchasing a new pair of kicks in the store, you can select the new “Shoe Usability” button on the product page to see which outfits in your locker are compatible with the kicks. Alternatively there is also one Fortnite shoe and outfit compatibility page on the net.
Aside from the introduction of the kicks, there is also more negative news about Fortnite: From December 1st, the long-running Battle Pass will be more expensive and will then cost 1,000 V-Bucks.
