Epic Games had recently announced details of the first major in-game event in Fortnite, a little later they were nailing their heads. We give you an overview of what you can expect in "Love and War".

In the meantime we arrived in February of the still young year 2020 and for Epic Games that also means: It is finally time for the first big in-game event in Fortnite this year! This is called "Love and War" and has now officially started.
In the course of the new event, a new variant of the Search & Destroy game mode awaits you, which is now available for a limited time. In this, teams of six players play against each other in up to eleven rounds. The team that wins six rounds wins. The further functioning of this mode is described as follows:
- Destroy the bomb (attacker), defend the bomb (defender) OR eliminate the other team to get your victory.
- Earn gold by eliminating opponents, placing or defusing bombs, and completing rounds. With gold you can buy weapons, shields and additional building materials. Note: You take your gold to the next round as long as you don't switch sides!
In addition to the new Community LTM, a free pickaxe, an emote and more await you when you complete the relevant challenges of the event. In addition, new costumes and outfits are available in the item shop. The event ends on February 17th!
