At the beginning of the month, Fortnite was all about Star Wars again – and at the end of the month it will be like that again. Because Obi-Wan Kenobi does the honors!
On Star Wars Day May 4th, a lot of Star Wars content came to the island in Fortnite. Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber provided a first indication of what was to come. Now the presence of the cult character on the island has finally been confirmed – in line with the start of the new series on Disney +.
Epic Games announced today that Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available in the Fortnite item shop starting Friday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. In addition to the striking outfit, the following additional content is also part of the game:
- Back Bling “Desert Gear” (included in outfit): The perfect foundation for living in isolation on a remote desert planet.
- Spitzhacke “Obi-Wans Klinge”: You can always rely on that.

Items are available separately or in the “Obi-Wan Kenobi Pack”; The latter also includes the Surrounded Kenobi loading screen.
Separate from the actual items, on Sunday May 22nd there will be the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup – a tournament in the battle royale duo format. The best players can use this to earn an outfit and back accessory in advance.
Not building is now becoming a permanent option in Fortnite, bringing the focus back to combat.
