Epic Games was able to announce the next access to the icon series in Fortnite this Monday at the start of the new week. This is a tennis star.
The developer studio confirmed a collaboration with tennis champion Naomi Osaka today. Osaka, who is not only active on the tennis court but also as an activist, fashion designer and entrepreneur, will enrich the island in Fortnite as part of the icon series in the future.
Accordingly, you can purchase Osaka as an in-game outfit from March 4th at 1:00 a.m. From March 2nd, even before the official start, there will be the chance to secure the items in advance as the winner of the Naomi Osaka Cup.
The Naomi Osaka Set represents the different sides of Naomi Osaka. Much like she can’t be pinned down to a single aspect in real life, there are multiple appearances in Fortnite as well. Her sister Mari helped her with the design, so that in the end two outfits were created that are intended to capture her origins and the different facets of herself: the “Naomi Osaka” outfit and the “Dark Priestess Naomi” outfit.
