Fortnite: The heroine of Unreal Engine 5 is here

It was the night Fortnite announced the news on the Epic Games website. From this evening on the heroine Echo the Windy is available in the Battle Royale Item Shop. It appeared in the Unreal Engine 5 presentation trailer in May 2020. It’s the new version of the engine developed by Epic Games that is still in beta today but can be used by developers (such as the one made by Vigilance 2099). Epic Games also took the opportunity to announce the presence of Echo in an animation project from the Mold3D studio that was created entirely with the Unreal Engine.

In addition, the fortographies are back on Fortnite. It is an organized photo competition where players have to illustrate to their heroes how they see fit to fly over the island. An event that will run until September 17th, that is, at the end of Season 7 of Chapter 2. As a reminder: Operation Celestial Fire takes place on September 12 at 10 p.m. French time and wants to put an end to the alien invasion that took place this seventh season. While the theme of season eight is unknown, we do know one of the celebrities who will jump into the game: it’s about Naruto, the main protagonist of the manga with planetary success.

Fortnite is available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
