Fortnite, Season

It was recently announced that Fortnite's ongoing Season 2 will be extended. Now there are some changes that should be imported during the extension.

Fortnite's second season has just been extended until June 4th. Apparently, the developers are using this additional time to implement some changes and innovations.

As of May 1, a new Party Royale mode will apparently be tested, as a Dataminer found out. It is believed to be an experimental mode in which players are expected to leave their weapons and materials behind. The new update is initially only available to partners who have already installed the patch v12.50.

Furthermore, there is apparently a new espionage mode called Operation: Payload in progress, in which you can use your espionage equipment acquired during the season to escort and defend a cargo load, with the sides being changed after each round.

Further changes concern the damage of Heavy Snipers and a readjustment of the Aim Assistant. This is intended to compensate for the preference given to players with a mouse and keyboard as well as a high frame rate compared to gamepad players.
