The third season of the Witcher series is about to start on Netflix – and Fortnite is celebrating it in a special way. Two main characters of the RPG series are now finding their way to the island.
The successful and long-standing battle royale game Fortnite is once again attracting attention with a cross-over action – this time with the cult RPG series The Witcher. Shortly before the start of the third season of the series adaptation on Netflix, two protagonists come to the island with witcher Ciri and sorceress Yennefer von Vengerberg.
From now until July 5th at 02:00 the duo can be found in the item shop as part of the Gaming Legends series. Both heroines also bring their own islands, those of Team Unite created in partnership with Epic Games to earn rewards. Completing both islands will give you the Tale of Two Storms banner.
According to official information, what the two islands are all about:
- Ciri’s way out: Players must escape the White Cold on the new island and travel through different worlds. After successfully completing the island, the “Confident Ciri” emoticon awaits everyone. The new island Ciri’s way out is via the Discover screen or the island code 2776-4034-8400 to reach.
- Yennefers Schlachtfeld: On the newly created island Yennefers Schlachtfeld opponents must be defeated with swords, bows and magical abilities and the base of your own team must be defended. After completing the island, all players will receive the Irritated Yennefer emoticon. Yennefer’s battlefield is via the Discover screen or with the island code 2862-9616-5689 to reach.
- Cosmetic-Sets: Ciri’s outfit includes the “Zireael” back accessory, from which the “Zireael” pickaxe can also be pulled. The Yennefer von Vengerberg outfit comes with the Bird Skull back accessory, which is imbued with supernatural energy.
