In Fortnite there is once again a new cross-over campaign with the successful sci-fi brand Star Wars. As part of this, just before Star Wars Day, Anakin Skywalker is coming as a skin in the Battle Royale long-running hit.
As has been the case several times before, there is now a new cross-over from the long-running Fortnite with the Star Wars franchise. So you can look forward to a brand new Anakin Skywalker skin in the Battle Royale hit in a few days. This comes two days before the unofficial Star Wars Day (May the 4th) on May 2nd, 2023 in Epic Games’ title.
Star Wars skins have always been available in Fortnite over the past few years. A first collaboration came in 2019 when the classic Imperial Stormtrooper landed in Fortnite. In the aftermath there were also skins of Boba Fett, the Mandalorian, Fennec Shand, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. In the meantime, the Star Wars characters Han Solo, Leia Organa, Zorii Bliss and Krrsantan can also be found in the title.
So now follows Anakin Skywalker – complete with robotic arm and his leather gear. This is essentially the outfit worn by the character in 2005’s Revenge of the Sith as he battles Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is not yet known how much this skin will cost in Fortnite and what other items are included in the bundle.
Detached from the Star Wars cross-over, there are also increasing reports that Fortnite will also bring new LEGO skins into play in Chapter 4 Season 4. According to the reliable leaker ShiinaBR, another cooperation is planned around Doctor Who.
