The Fortnite variant without building mechanics, which crept into the game with the start of the new season, was apparently well received by the fans. So good that Epic Games is now making it a permanent mode.
The elimination of building in the new Fortnite season should only be temporary. But the feature was well received, not least because it brought the focus back more to the fights. Epic Games has now decided to leave zero build as a permanent variant in the game. You can now find Null Bauen on the Discover page in solo, duo, trio and team modes.
This also means that certain tools will continue to be available. What remains, for example, is the rechargeable protective shield as a defensive measure. The high-out aids, with which you could get to airships or higher levels, for example, remain in play.
Epic Games also documents the decision directly with a video that is currently collecting a lot of enthusiastic comments on YouTube, especially since you now have the choice of whether you play with or without building.
Not building is now becoming a permanent option in Fortnite, bringing the focus back to combat.
