Fortnite’s story expands with each season. At the moment, Darth Vader is at the center of the story.
Five years have already passed since Fortnite saw the light of day. During this time, the Battle Royale had a proud 20 seasons, which are divided into three larger chapters. These chapters even contain a quite complex story, which is told via cinematic trailers and in-game events.
The people behind Youtube-Kanal Top5Gaming have now edited any material, whether cinematic trailers, audio excerpts or in-game recordings, into an almost hour-long video and formed a continuous story from it.

The special: Rather than just stringing together all of the cinematic trailers, Top5Gaming has taken the trouble to include key gameplay events, audio recordings and other often unobtrusive but small extras that make the fan film really complete. These events usually happen at the end of a season and can only be experienced if you are in the game at the right moment. They also often have an impact on the game world and introduce new gameplay content. An example of this is the rocket launch seen in the film at 11:36 minutes.
But watch out: The story continues to quickly become confusing for anyone new to Fortnite, as there is also no classic common thread with a protagonist throughout the story. It’s more about the Fortnite island and how it’s constantly changing. So the film is more aimed at fans who have nostalgic memories of the first steps of the Battle Royale and who are marveling at the big in-game events again or for the first time if they weren’t there live.

Fortnite is now in the second season of Chapter 3. After Marvel heroes like Iron Man and Captain America, but also DC heroes like Batman, got lost on the action-packed island a few seasons ago, Star Wars antagonist Darth recently came Vader himself comes into play.
