Forza Horizon 5 is still regularly releasing updates with minor fixes and improvements. In October 2022, however, there’s something special for Forza’s tenth anniversary. The big update also includes a new single-player mission and additional cars. We summarize the most important things for you.
What’s in the Anniversary Update?
New Horizon Story ” Horizon Origins”: Join DJ Scott Tyler on October 13 to relive some of the series’ most iconic gameplay moments. In five chapters you travel back through time and unlock the game by playing all 5 chapters 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Anniversary Edition released, reminiscent of the cover car of the first Forza Horizon. Four Midnight Battles with rewards: You unlock one of these new races by winning 4 race events in the street scene. If you like setting records, you can also ride the routes in Rivals. A victory in a Midnight Battle unlocks a car as a reward, these wheels are up for grabs:
With the last race you switch the 2010 Lamborghini Bat LP 670-4 SV free, one of the fastest cars from this manufacturer, but unfortunately there is no picture here.
New Cars as Forza Festival Rewards: If you play the events celebrating the anniversary, you can also unlock new cars from other games in the series as a reward. Here are all 4 new sports cars you can win and their unlock conditions:
To unlock the new cars, you must have 20 points in the appropriate Season
earn from the festival playlist:
- Ferrari 599XX: Available in the summer season from October 13th to October 27th
- Koenigsegg Act: Available in the Fall Season from October 20th to October 27th
- Eagle Speedster: Available in the winter season from October 27th to November 3rd
- Aston Martin One-77: Available in the Spring Season from November 3rd to November 10th
Festival Playlist mit Events: An in-game festival will take place over the next four weeks, offering you changing events, new songs for your mixtape, and rewards. In virtual Mexico, new festival sites are also set up every week.

What else is there to know?
To mark the anniversary, the two latest Forza games on Steam and the Microsoft Store are significantly reduced. The offer has been valid since October 11th in the Microsoft Store and from October 13th on Steam: Forza Horizon 4 is then reduced by 67 percent, while Horizon 5 is 33 percent cheaper. The offer is valid until October 24th.
