Just 38 percent positive reviews on Steam – Forza Motorsport has been showered with negative feedback from the PC community since its release. Three months have now passed and the development studio Turn 10 has not been able to turn things around (or rather the steering wheel) with two updates. Now they are revealing their plans for 2024.
Three construction sites
There are only a few positive words in the user reviews, but there are a number of problems. Three of these are expected to be resolved over the course of the year, but the weak performance on the PC or the frequent hackers in multiplayer are not addressed. Instead, on the official Forza website
Level cars
We know that the progression system in Forza Motorsport is a controversial topic among our players.
, the message says. Compared to its predecessor, the individual bodies in Forza Motorsport must be improved with experience points. However, some fans had the feeling that this would only stretch out the playing time unnaturally.
But there was also positive feedback according to the developers, which is why a middle ground is apparently being sought to keep both camps happy. A clear plan is not presented and it will still take some time, but it has highest priority
Unreliable racing order
Players are currently still annoyed about the penalties for misconduct on the slopes may not work as intended in some situations.
Unfair actions during competition are sometimes followed by harsh consequences, sometimes weak consequences, and sometimes no consequences at all.
In order to recognize the problem in its fullness, more data needs to be collected for the time being. To do this, the developers work with competitive players who provide them with video recordings of the situations.

Aggressive KI
If you prefer to race against the AI in single player, things often don’t get any easier. The opponents sometimes brake abruptly and for no reason, do not accelerate on exits and stick too strictly to the ideal line.
According to the developers, what is particularly annoying is the overly aggressive nature of the AI. Shortly after the start of the race in the first corner, this can be frustrating and ruin the start. This part of the AI should be tackled at the beginning of 2024as this is the one that affects most players the most.
The developers want to report back every new quarter and share the status of things.
Do you think Forza Motorsport can turn the corner again or has the racing simulation already gone way over the curbs and can no longer avoid the gravel trap and the red flag? Feel free to write it to us in the comments!
