According to a new report, forza motorsport It has been pushed back from its spring 2023 release window to “Q3 or a bit later.”
Just this week, Microsoft showed off a chunk of Forza Motorsport’s gameplay during an Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct presentation. But viewers noted that the provided release window had a vague 2023 release window rather than a more specific spring 2023, as pointed out by the game’s trailer at last year’s Xbox and Bethesda Summer Showcase. Now, Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb, known for his insider tips, has expanded on that, claiming that the game has been slightly delayed.
“After hearing it for the first time earlier today, I felt good after asking a few times,” Grubb said on the latest episode of the Game Mess Decides podcast (thanks VGC). “It does look like Forza will be delayed until later this year, and it probably won’t be the first half of the year…I’ve heard that Forza’s timeline is like Q3, maybe even a bit later than that”
This isn’t too surprising considering Spring is a sufficiently vague release window anyway, which is how games are released these days. While it may still be months away, the latest footage shown this week does give us at least a good look at the game.
