The First Descendant had an impressive launch, peaking at over 229,257 concurrent players on Steam. However, the game was heavily criticized by players who reported numerous performance issues, even on powerful computers. The developers posted a message the studio’s website I apologize for the inconvenience and acknowledged that frame rates have dropped. They offered a temporary solution: reinstall the gameThis suggests that most of the issues affected players who downloaded it before launch.
Despite this news, the title continues to encounter difficulties, forcing the studio to promise various rewards to appease angry players. These rewards include increased drops, Kuiper Fragments, experience boosts, and much more! The omnipresent microtransactions also tarnish the South Korean studio’s game. However, the community remains active and eagerly awaits changes in future updates.
