GoldenEye 25 – view screenshots
The fan remake GoldenEye 25 is advancing. The developers provide information on the status of production on Twitter. A series of new screenshots and videos show how far the fan remake has progressed. It is scheduled for completion on the 25th anniversary of GoldenEye 64 in 2022.
We see a snow level in several pictures, a shooting range and one of the opponents in GoldenEye 25. The pictures show how modern the new edition appears compared to the template:

GoldenEye 64 was way ahead of its time, but it no longer looks contemporary today.
You can follow the development of GoldenEye 25 on IndieDB. The game is committed to every mission of the 1997 shooter classic to build from scratch in Unreal Engine 4. The remake should appear in 2022 – completely Free2Play.

By the way, GoldenEye 007 still attracts Speedrunner. In 2017, a 15-year-old record was broken again. It was about a second in the level »Dam«, which was considered unreachable for a long time.
