Lawsuit against Activision Blizzard
Activision Blizzard is currently facing a lawsuit alleging sexism and unequal treatment of female employees. If the grievances play a role in your purchase decision, we have summarized all the information on the sexism lawsuit in a detailed article for you. You can read our attitude and consequences to the processes in a leading article on the Blizzard scandal by GameStar editor-in-chief Heiko Klinge.
The 3 best offers
While the discount numbers don’t climb above 67 percent for this particular sale, there are still a few really worthwhile offers worth at least considering. We picked three games that stand out from the crowd. Also keep in mind that many games from Battle.net are only available there and will not appear on Steam or GOG. In addition, sales are much rarer here.
1. Diablo Prime Evil Collection

Diablo 2 Resurrected is as awesome as ever, but it could have been so much more!
Diablo 4, the latest offshoot of this venerable series, will be released in June. The predecessors are among some of the best action RPGs of all time and the second part in particular is a classic. If you want to prepare yourself really well before the release of D4 and experience how the story has gone up until then, then this package is definitely worth it. You get Diablo 2 in the new edition as well as Diablo 3 including the addon Reaper of Souls for just 20 dollars.
Incidentally, the first part is not available on Battle.net, but instead you have to check out GOG. The game currently costs 9 dollars.
2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Solo Campaign and Multiplayer Test Video
- Genre: Ego-Shooter
- Discount & Price: 20 dollars instead of 60 dollars (67 percent reduced)
- To offer: Modern Warfare on sale
Of course, the majority of multiplayer players are currently romping around in Modern Warfare 2, which was only released in 2022. The predecessor modern warfare is three years older but at least in our test it did a whole lot better.
No wonder, after all, Call of Duty showed itself from its very best side here and, in addition to the usual cool gunplay, also offered a thoroughly rousing single-player campaign that shone with an approachable Spec Ops atmosphere without neglecting the typical CoD action deposits. For just 20 dollars, it’s worth it to at least catch up on the campaign.
3. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time

Crash Bandicoot 4 – Jump & Run hit PS4 & Xbox One review video
Finally, a somewhat unusual recommendation. But if you’re even remotely inclined towards classic jump and run games, you should give Crash Bandicoot 4 a try. The game continues the series after a 23-year delay, but seems to have lost none of its strengths in all these years.
Once again, the bandicoot sets off on a crazy adventure that will captivate you with so much charm and action in front of the PC that time will fly by. Because that’s what it’s all about here, about time. Get it?
In addition to our three suggestions, there are of course many other games in the Activision Blizzard Sale that could be worthwhile. From Modern Warfare 2 to StarCraft 2 to the arcade collection full of classics, there really is a lot. Write us in the comments what you are excited about!
