Remnant: From the Ashes gets with "Swamps of Corsus" a DLC, which should demand everything from you. The expansion not only provides new areas and opponents, but also a really difficult one Survival mode.
Swamps of Corsus sends you alone or in co-op with only one pistol and some scrap equipped in the end-time world of the game. Anyone making progress in this particularly tough mode unlocks account-linked rewards. Death is permanent here: Anyone who dies has to start over.

What's new in Swamps of Corsus?
With the players the announcement caused some confusion, since they assumed that the Corsus update would be completely free. The developer then turned to the community and explained in detail what you have to pay for and what you get for free.
For paying customers only
- Survival mode: A particularly difficult Roguelike mode, but it rewards you better.
- Corsus Adventure mode: Contains new quests, dungeons and tile sets.
- Equipment: You can find new weapons and learn traits.
- DLC items: You can find some items without the DLC, but only use them as a buyer.
- Achievements: With the new challenges, there will also be new achievements.
Free content for everyone
- Corsus campaign: Includes new bosses with their own tile sets and new mod rewards.
- Alternative Kill: You can get rid of a fat belly that is particularly popular with players in an alternative way.
- Difficulty level: Anyone who plays on »Apocalypse« should face particularly difficult challenges.
- "Glowing Fragments": A currency to buy new armor skins from whispers.
- Other fixes: The team tweaked balancing, weapons, gear updates, the boss opponents and fixed a number of bugs.
The full patch notes are said to be released before Swamps of Corsus is released on April 28, 2020 appear. The DLC itself is said to cost around 10 euros.
