Game news Future of Suicide Squad uncertain? New information about the game from the developers of the Batman Arkham saga
By announcing the repeated postponements of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players around the world thought it was for the best. Unfortunately, even after so many months of development, they remained untouched by gameplay. Worse, they were having a blast on social media: a dissatisfaction that reached Rocksteady’s ears. Following his recent statements, Jason Schreier has provided fresh data on the potential new report.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a glacial tomb of Mr. Freeze
To the surprise of everyone, on February 23rd, PlayStation and Sony hosted a State of Play event aimed at promoting the PSVR 2 catalogue, but above all a next-gen game that is among the most attractive titles of the new generation of consoles belonged Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Think about sharing maximum information on their next game and reassuring players, Rocksteady has in turn raised the concern of (potential) future buyers. The reactions in the social networks quickly overturned, going so far as to predict an oven à la Marvel’s Avengers if the title came out like that. After the shifts that underscored the development, it didn’t take long for a new crisis to settle within the ranks of Rocksteady, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier announced a few days ago. Following his recent revelations, one of the industry’s most prominent insiders has returned to power.
Despite the dilemma, Rocksteady persists and signs his anti-Justice League game
On March 9th, Jason Schreier shared a message on Twitter after checking out with one of his sources to make the announcement after the presentation Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueconsidered disastrous by a large segment of the audience, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady had decided to delay the game’s release for the umpteenth time, and today backed up the words of his previous tweet with new data. As he explains, the announcement of the postponement hasn’t been made official because the teams just don’t have any ideas internally about the next release date.
Rocksteady hasn’t announced the Suicide Squad delay yet, perhaps because there’s no new date set yet. Staff were told a few weeks ago it was coming later this year, but still don’t know when. It may slip to 2024, but one thing seems certain: the core game will not change

On the one hand we evoke the possibility of a delay of a few monthswhile we remain programmed for the year 2023 while emphasizing on the other hand the possibility of a pure and hard shift…. until 2024. As I said, there is no certainty about the outcome of this dilemma But one thing would be for sure right now, and it won’t please players chilled by moving out of State of Play. To wrap up his new tweet Jason Schreier announced that the heart of the game will not be the focus of the changesimplying that it would retain its economic model and the system discovered in detail.
